About Me: I became very interested in making beaded jewelry in July 2007 after a visit to a very large bead store while on a weekend trip to the town of Frankenmuth, in the "thumb" of Michigan. I've always enjoyed putting color combinations together, and making jewelry is a fantastic way to express myself and keep my mind off the weather during the long Michigan winters. Even though the snow sparkles, it lasts too long here! I live in Grand Rapids, the second largest city in Michigan, we're on the WEST side of the state, lots of scenery and greenery (half the year, anyway)!
